At the University of Michigan alone, she has been in 12 productions, co-written a production that she took a lead role in, and directed 3 plays and one musical. A Michigan native, Nico graduated in 2009 from UMich. Nico Ager’s real name isn’t Nico, but Nicholas Ager. Joseph Walker has been a member of Starkid Productions since its founding in 2009, acting variously as writer, producer, and performer at different times over the past decade. In Los Angeles, Jon is represented commercially and for voiceover by Osbrink Talent. He also just closed StarKid’s second LA production, Black Friday, which played to sold out crowds at the Hudson Theatre. This summer, Jon rocked out on stage in StarKid Homecoming, which opened to sold out crowds at the Theatre at the Ace. In the Fall of 2018, Jon started working with StarKid in The Guy Who Didn't like Musicals. Jon was a founding member of (re)discover theatre, a group focused on immersive classical theatre that has been going strong in Chicago for 7 years. While in Chicago, Jon guest starred on Chicago Fire and several other television pilots, while also producing much of his own work. Jon performed regularly at the Annoyance Theatre in many musical comedies, including The Power of Prom and Shark Tank: The Musical. While in Chicago, he toured abroad with the renowned theatrical group, The Second City, and in Chicago in #DateMe, directed by Frank Caeti. Jon Matteson performed in Chicago for 8 years before moving to Los Angeles. ![]()
